The SCORE Marathon 2026 by AIA Vitality is a premier road running event that has evolved from a local favorite into a prestigious World Athletics Label Road Race, a distinction held by only three marathons in Malaysia. Held in the modern city of Putrajaya, the course offers a high-performance environment where runners traverse wide boulevards, iconic bridges, and stunning architectural landmarks.
The hallmark of the 2026 edition is the SCORE Double Challenge, a unique endurance test that transforms a single race into a multi-day journey. This challenge allows participants to push their limits by competing on both days of the event: tackling the 5KM Fun Run or 10KM categories on Saturday, 18 July, and returning to conquer the 21KM (Half Marathon) or 42KM (Full Marathon) on Sunday, 19 July.
This format offers a rare opportunity to experience the vibes that have historically defined SCORE events, culminating in a symbolic reward: finishers who complete both legs of the challenge can earn medals designed to be combined or interlocked, serving as a physical testament to their grit and accomplishment.
Get ready for a 3-day focused race journey meticulously designed to run like a “well-oiled machine”. From structured logistics and intentional fueling to a course measured to AIMS and World Athletics standards, every detail is engineered to support your peak performance and provide an unforgettable “race-cation” experience.
